Balch & Bingham Welcomes Back Lauren Thornton Jameson to Expand Litigation, Real Estate and Commercial Lending Practices
Balch & Bingham is pleased to welcome Lauren Thornton Jameson as she returns to the firm’s Birmingham office as an attorney in the Litigation, Real Estate and Commercial Lending Practices. Lauren represents corporations across the Southeast in commercial litigation, utility management and regulation and manages a wide variety of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, entitlement, development and commercial leasing.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lauren back to Balch & Bingham,” said Russ Campbell, chair of the Litigation Practice. “Her unique and diverse experience in litigation, real estate and commercial lending work is extremely valuable and her innovative and hands-on approach will greatly benefit our clients.”
Lauren earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and her LL.M. in taxation, cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law. Prior to her return to Balch, Lauren worked as in-house counsel for a Birmingham-based real estate development company, managing acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, land use regulation, finance and title insurance.
Lauren is a member of both the Alabama Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association and is actively involved in the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
