Kimano Edwards Selected for Membership in The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce Kimano Edwards, attorney in the Jacksonville office and member of the Real Estate and Commercial & Class Action practices, was selected for membership in The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, an invite-only professional development and networking association comprised of the top African American attorneys from across the country.

The National Black Lawyers (NBL) is a membership organization dedicated to honoring the nation’s best black lawyers. They supply members with a wealth of professional resources for increasing their knowledge and increasing referral connections. For those in need of legal representation, The NBL assists in finding lawyers who are reliable and relatable.

Kimano focuses his practice on business, commercial, construction, and complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. He is a former assistant state attorney for the State of Florida where he managed and litigated a high volume of diverse cases ranging from municipal ordinances to felonies. Kimano is currently chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association Construction Law Committee and serves on The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion. He was appointed by Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry in 2021 as a Trustee for Jacksonville Public Libraries.
