Christina Pantazis Selected to Participate in Momentum’s Upward Early-Career Program Class V

Christina Pantazis, attorney in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Labor & Employment Practice, was accepted to Momentum’s fifth Upward class. Christina joins a class of 67 women in the metro area who will take part in a nine-month program focused on personal and professional development, facilitated by local leaders and nationally recognized speakers.

The early career program seeks to develop leadership skills, confidence, and connections among Alabama’s top female professionals. Criteria for acceptance into the program includes demonstrating a high degree of career ownership, is self-motivated and capable of motivating others, appreciates diversity, shows initiative in team projects, and possesses strong people skills.

Christina regularly defends companies against claims involving employment laws (such as Title VII, ADA, Rehabilitation Act, ADEA, and the FMLA) made to both administrative agencies and in court. She is experienced in business competition litigation, including matters involving trade secrets, defamation, business interference, and non-competition agreements. In addition to defending her clients in adversarial proceedings, Christina counsels employers in developing new human resources policies and confronting the challenges of the ever-changing workplace. Her clients include healthcare providers, logistics and manufacturing companies, financial institutions, and large research universities.
