Brad Neighbors Presents at the 2022 ABA CEO, Bank Executive and Directors Conference

Brad Neighbors, Partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Banking & Financial Services Practice, recently presented as part of a panel at the Alabama Bankers Association CEO, Bank Executive and Directors’ Conference at the Grand Hotel in Pointe Clear, Alabama on August 5, 2022. Brad, along with other industry professionals, spoke as part of the “Hot Topics” panel and shared best practices for Bank Directors on drafting effective board minutes and policies.

The Alabama Bankers Association serves as the voice of the banking industry in Alabama and as the industry’s official advocate before state and federal government. Services provided to members include public policy advocacy, professional and certification-related education, annual meetings and conferences, regular publications and other programs and benefits. The Association also administers BANKPAC, the official political action committee representing the interests of the Alabama banking industry.

Brad counsels financial institutions in all aspects of the financial services industry, including regulatory compliance, vendor risk management, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and new bank formation. He has a wide range of financial institution clients, from community banks to large regional banks. He also has clients who are non-bank financial institutions, such as credit unions, finance companies or other businesses that are not typically considered financial institutions but offer in-house financing for their own goods and services.
