  • What type of clients do you represent?

    I have significant experience representing secured lenders, trade creditors, bondholders, indenture trustees, asset purchasers, landlords, and other strategic parties in connection with out of court workouts, chapter 11 proceedings, DIP and exit financings, Section 363 sales, and bankruptcy litigation.

  • What type of matters do you work on most often?

    My practice focuses primarily on corporate reorganizations and restructurings, creditors’ rights, and trustee representation. I have also successfully defended fraudulent transfer and preference actions filed by chapter 7 and post-confirmation trustees.

  • Chapter 11: Representation of Indenture Trustee with a claim in excess of $1 billion in a bankruptcy proceeding involving an E&P company specializing in offshore drilling.
  • Chapter 11: Representation of regional bank in a bankruptcy proceeding involving E&P company with assets in the Eagle Ford Shale Play and southern Oklahoma.
  • Chapter 11: Representation of aircraft lessor in a bankruptcy proceeding involving transportation company servicing the energy and healthcare industries.
  • Chapter 11: Representation of a major oil company in negotiating a global settlement, which dismissed a $20 million Adversary Proceeding against the company with prejudice.
  • Chapter 11: Representation of landlord group in a bankruptcy proceeding involving a large chain of family oriented restaurants.
  • Chapter 7: Representation of a chapter 7 debtor in the Southern District of Texas, and prepared the bankruptcy petition and all related pleadings.
  • Chapter 11: Representation of a manufacturer of oil and gas valves in two separate Adversary Proceedings, and successfully negotiated settlements that dismissed both proceedings with prejudice.
