  • Coverage litigation: Represented insurance carrier in declaratory judgment action in federal court involving interpretation of provisions of CGL policy and Motor Carrier Coverage form.
  • Coverage litigation: Represented insurance carrier in declaratory judgment action in federal court concerning coverage under Business Auto Coverage policy.
  • Coverage analysis: Advises clients on coverage issues under variety of policies, including CGL, auto, trucking and workers’ compensation policies
  • OSHA litigation: Successfully defended client in five-week OSHA hearing contesting citations issues under OSHA's asbestos standard.         
  • Whistleblower litigation: Successfully defended client in whistleblower action in week long hearing before Administrative Law Judge.          
  • OSHA fatality inspections: Advise clients during OSHA inspections based on employee complaints and fatalities.  Examples include: represented construction company during OSHA investigation of crane collapse resulting in three deaths and potential criminal claims; represented manufacturing client during OSHA inspection of fire resulting in employee death              
  • Personal injury defense: Obtained summary judgment on behalf of client against claims of contractor’s employee who fell while working in client’s facility.
  • Product liability defense: Obtained summary judgment on behalf of manufacturer of underground pipe against claims of negligence and wantonness.
  • Product liability defense: Represented generic drug manufacturer against claims that child suffered injury as a result of mother’s use of drug. Case involved fourteen medical causation and damages experts.  Challenged five of the plaintiff’s experts and participated in a three-day Daubert hearing.
