I maintain a varied practice, but each area informs the other. I can provide efficiencies and forward thinking strategies to cases that other more specialized attorneys cannot.
I defend businesses in a variety of personal injury and wrongful death cases arising out of a variety of different contexts including electrical cases, automobile accidents, toxic torts, consumer products, and premises owner cases. I serve as local and regional counsel for asbestos litigation for manufacturing companies and have personally defended asbestos cases in Alabama and Georgia.
In addition, I represent many national clients in the insurance industry on insurance-related matters and handle coverage litigation for multiple insurance carriers.
My extensive OSHA practice focuses on both enforcement and compliance issues. I provide counsel to clients during OSHA inspections. Clients also seek my counsel in those instances where OSHA issues citations. I defend clients in litigation challenging those citations before the Occupational Safety and Health Act Review Commission. My practice allows me to counsel and defend clients in cases brought under many of the federal whistleblower laws that are investigated by OSHA, such as OSHA’s 11(c) and the Energy Reorganization Act. Lastly, my OSHA practice provides me the opportunity to advise clients on OSHA standards and assist in developing safety and health compliance policies that are tailored to their businesses.
