  • IT Support Specialist - Birmingham, AL

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and respond to Help Desk calls in a timely manner via the approved Help Desk system.
    • Install and troubleshoot individual software applications as needed.
    • Image, configure and install computers.
    • Maintain and track check-out equipment such as laptops, projectors, mobile devices, etc.
    • Assist in audio/visual/computer setup in conference rooms as required.
    • Assist in various projects such as new software deployments and hardware upgrades/replacements.
    • Provide hands-on support for traditional and VMware View driven virtual workstations.
    • Work with outside vendors on equipment repairs as required.
    • Assist in support of enterprise messaging, document management, fax, web, anti-virus and spam solutions as required.
    • Install and manage Microsoft desktop operating systems including security and service patches as required.
    • Support data access and security initiatives.
    • Support print servers and services.
    • Serve as second tier support for Help Desk questions.
    • Responsibilities will vary based on office location.
       

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop concepts and principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize.
    • Some travel and after-hours support may be required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.

  • Litigation Secretary - Jackson, MS

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence including letters, memos, dictation, briefs, pleadings and reports.
    • Organize and maintain files.
    • Maintain and track schedules, deadlines and calendars.  
    • Schedule meetings and conferences.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements.
    • Answer incoming telephone calls.
    • Enter, edit and finalize billable time and client billings, adhering to Outside Counsel Guidelines for multiple clients.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Office Administrator - Jackson, MS

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Direct the recruiting and hiring of professional staff. 
    • Provide support to recruiting initiatives for attorneys.
    • Assist with the onboarding process for new attorneys and professionals.  
    • Coordinate training and professional development of staff.  
    • Organize and manage work assignments and coverage of support services.
    • Prepare expense and trust account checks; perform other light accounting functions as needed.  
    • Participate in the annual budgeting process; operate within expected financial guidelines and budgets.
    • Plan office special events, meetings, parties, and community service initiatives.

  • Billing Coordinator - Birmingham, AL

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Process monthly client billing for assigned attorneys.
    • Generate pre-bills for review by the respective attorneys and ensuring any necessary edits are made prior to billing.
    • Generate bills from corrected pre-bills using various bill formats and in accordance with matter-specific billing instructions.
    • Generate electronic bills, communicate deductions and process appeals.
    • Communicate changes for client and matter information (address, contact, rates, bill format, etc.) and ensure such changes are made timely and correctly.
    • Identify non-compliant bills and coordinate with attorney and client to make corrections. 
    • Assist attorneys and secretaries with client inquires. 
    • Create and maintain client or attorney requested reports.
    • Follow up on unapplied cash, account fees, and account disbursements and trust balances to ensure appropriate and timely resolution.
    • Other responsibilities as requested.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive, sort, and distribute packages and other mail items.
    • Deliver letters, legal documents, and packages to clients, law firms, and other businesses.
    • Send files to offsite storage facility and retrieve files as needed.
    • File documents with various courts.
    • Serve subpoenas as needed.
    • Prepare legal documents for scanning; photocopy and scan legal documents.
    • Print and bind documents and materials.
    • Assist with coordination, set up, and clean-up of conference rooms, common areas, and office events.
