Balch & Bingham Strengthens Environmental & Natural Resources Practice with Addition of Liz Williamson, Bolsters Washington, D.C. Office

Balch & Bingham is pleased to welcome Liz Williamson as a Partner in the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice in the Washington, DC office. Liz brings 25 years of experience counseling clients on all aspects of environmental law with an emphasis on Clean Air Act (CAA) and coal ash management. Liz’s practice involves counseling, risk management, permitting, litigation, and enforcement.  

With the evolving environmental regulations addressing energy transitions and climate, Liz helps energy and manufacturing clients understand the impacts of these changes, manage risk, and navigate future compliance. Liz represents clients permitting new generation and constructing carbon reduction technologies. She also provides day-to-day legal support and risk management for clients involved in coal ash management, beneficial use and disposal.

Liz received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, where she graduated with honors.
