  • What types of clients do you represent?

    I work with a variety of financial related clients including regional and community banks, the Alabama Bankers Association, outside counsel to the Alabama State Banking Department, and new car dealerships.

  • What type of matters do you work on most often?

    Most often, I work on matters related to regulatory compliance, and state legislative matters.

    Since 1985, I have examined and advised a variety of clients regarding proposed state legislation and proposed state agency regulations and rules.  I often describe the effect of proposed legislation and regulations upon various industries, prepare and offer corrective amendments, draft proposed legislation, and formulate industry and client positions with respect to legislation and regulations.  I have represented banks in over $500,000,000 sales of distressed assets including loans and ORE properties.
