Balch & Bingham Welcomes Callie Cochran to Expand Environmental & Natural Resources Practice

Balch & Bingham is pleased to welcome Callie Cochran as she joins the firm’s Birmingham office as an attorney in the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice, adding to the depth and breadth of the firm’s nationally ranked environmental team.

Callie focuses her practice on counseling industrial clients, utilities, and other business entities navigating environmental regulatory compliance issues. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar and an active participant of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.

Callie earned her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she was the managing editor of the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board and Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Team. 

Balch’s Environmental Practice has been recognized for excellence for six consecutive years by Chambers USA, one of the nation’s most prominent legal guides. 

For decades, Balch has represented businesses operating in highly-regulated industries across the country in environmental compliance, policy, and enforcement matters. It’s deep bench of attorneys provides counsel to utilities, independent power producers, energy cooperatives, natural resource extractors, chemical and manufacturing companies, project developers, financial services, power purchasers, natural resource trustees, and local governments.
