Robert L. "Tripp" DeMoss III

Tripp maintains a diverse litigation practice in federal and state courts and has handled cases in a variety of subjects including commercial disputes, premises liability, personal injury, governmental liability, labor and employment, civil rights, construction, and wrongful death. Tripp has also successfully briefed appeals before the Alabama Supreme Court and Court of Civil Appeals, and submitted amicus curiae briefs to the Alabama Supreme Court. Drawing on his experience as a public policy attorney, Tripp has reviewed, analyzed and drafted legislation, and has provided advice and counsel to state agencies on statutory and regulatory compliance issues as well.

Tripp formerly clerked for the Honorable R. Austin Huffaker, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Tripp previously served as a legislative aide and counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives, as a legislative officer in the U.S. Department of Labor, and as a government affairs/regulatory attorney at a prominent Alabama trade association.
