NERC Submits Modifications to Reliability Standards PRC-001, PRC-019, and PRC-024

On March 13, 2015, in Docket No. RD15-3, NERC submitted a supplemental petition for approval of proposed Reliability Standards PRC-001-1.1(ii) (System Protection Coordination), PRC-019-2 (Coordination of Generating Unit or Plant Capabilities, Voltage Regulating Controls, and Protection), and PRC-024-2 (Generator Frequency and Voltage Protective Relay Settings). The proposed standards are intended to clarify the applicability of the existing standards to dispersed generation resources. NERC filed an earlier petition on February 6, 2015, in the same docket, requesting that the Commission approve changes to other PRC and VAR reliability standards for the same reason.
