FERC Issues NOPR for Approval of Reliability Standard PRC-005-4

On April 16, 2015, in Docket No. RM-15-9, FERC issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) to approve Reliability Standard PRC-005-4, “Protection System, Automatic Reclosing, and Sudden Pressure Relaying Maintenance,” along with revised or new definitions for certain terms referenced in the proposed standard. NERC filed a petition seeking FERC approval of proposed Reliability Standard PRC-005-4 on December 18, 2014.
