Managing the Risk from Clean Air Act Risk Management Plans

This article addressed the increased enforcement by EPA of regulations that govern companies required by the CAA to maintain risk management plans. This uptick comes in the wake of tragic accidents from chemical spills, such as the west Texas chemical explosion. The article provided suggestions on how to minimize the threat posed by EPA inspections under this highly regulated program and the associated U.S. OSHA Process Safety Management program.
