FERC Conditionally Approves Revisions to Compliance and Certification Committee Charter

On August 21, 2015, in Docket No. RR15-11, the Commission issued an order conditionally accepting NERC's proposed revisions to the Compliance and Certification Committee (CCC) Charter. NERC submitted the revisions on June 2, 2015, in an attempt to clarify the Charter's references to the NERC Rules of Procedure and to update the Charter to reflect organizational changes. In its order, the Commission found that certain language in the proposed revisions is inconsistent with the NERC Rules of Procedure and, accordingly, directed NERC to submit a compliance filing within 60 days to retain the existing Charter language in question. The Commission approved the remainder of NERC's proposed revisions, subject to NERC's compliance filing.
