NERC Submits Comments on TOP/IRO Reliability Standards NOPR

On August 24, 2015, in Docket No. RM15-16, NERC submitted comments in response to the Commission's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) to approve revisions to Transmission Operations (TOP) and Interconnection Reliability Operations (IRO) Reliability Standards. NERC submitted a petition seeking approval of revisions to nine TOP and IRO Reliability Standards on March 18, 2015, and supplemented its petition on May 12, 2015. On June 18, 2015, the Commission issued a NOPR to approve the proposed standards and requesting comment on certain specified issues. In its comments, NERC responds to the Commission's request for specific comments and requests that the Commission approve the proposed standards without modification.
