On September 23, 2015, in Docket No. RM15-11, NERC submitted reply comments in the rulemaking docket to approve proposed Reliability Standard TPL-007-1. FERC issued the NOPR to approved proposed standard TPL-007-1 on May 14, 2015, and NERC filed its initial comments on July 27, 2015. NERC's reply comments respond to coments submitted by Kappenman & Birnbach challenging NERC's geo-electric field calculations underlying the proposed standard.
