NERC Requests to Defer Implementation of Reliability Standards

On November 13, 2015, in Docket Nos. RM14-8, RD15-3, and RM15-9, NERC filed a motion to defer the implementation of Commission-approved Reliability Standards PRC-005-3, PRC-005-3(i), and PRC-005-4.  NERC requests that the implementation for these Reliability Standards be deferred until after FERC issues a final order on proposed Reliability Standard PRC-005-6.  The motion also seeks to have FERC shorten the period for responding to the request to a period of seven days and asks that FERC consider the request on an expedited timeframe.  These Reliability Standards were scheduled to be implemented on January 1, 2016.
