NERC Submits Revisions to Definitions of Terms Used in Reliability Standards

On December 7, 2015, in Docket No. RD16-3, NERC filed a petition requesting approval of proposed revised definitions to twenty-six terms in the Glossary of Terms Used in NERC Reliability Standards. These revisions are part of a wider effort to align the definitions of terms used in Reliability Standards and those used in the NERC Rules of Procedure. The proposed revisions will promoted understanding and reduce confusion regarding the proper definitions of those terms that are found in both the Reliability Standards and Rules of Procedure.
