On January 13, 2016, in Docket No. RR16-1, FERC issued a letter order approving NERC’s proposed amendments to its delegation agreement with Southwest Power Pool (SPP). NERC submitted the proposed amendments on November 30, 2015. The amendments will increase the number of SPP Regional Entity Trustees to a maximum of four and ensure that only SPP Members that are Registered Entities in the SPP Regional Entity Footprint are eligible to participate in SPP Regional Entity Trustee elections, removals, and compensation approvals.
