FERC Accepts Amendments to the MRO SPM

On May 6, 2016, in Docket No RR16-3, FERC issued a letter order approving NERC’s March 7, 2016 petition for the approval of the Midwest Reliability Organization’s (“MRO”) revised Reliability Standards Process Manual (“SMP”).  The revisions include minor typographical and grammatical changes, additional language to reflect that MRO is a cross-border Regional Entity, and elimination of the Reliability Standards Voting Process as the specific system that MRO would use for balloting purposes under the SPM.
