FERC Accepts CMEP ROP Revisions

On May 4, 2016, in Docket No. RR15-2, FERC issued a letter order accepting NERC’s March 3, 2016 revisions to its Rules of Procedure (“ROP”) that reflect certain components of the risk-based Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (“CMEP”). The revisions codify in the ROP certain NERC practices that are already in place and include language setting forth modifications to the Regional Entities’ data retention requirements.
