FERC Approves Proposed NERC Glossary Definitions

On June 23, 2016, in Docket No. RD16-7, FERC issued an order approving NERC’s proposed revised definitions of six terms in the Glossary of Terms Used in NERC Reliability Standards. The definitions were originally proposed as a part of NERC’s April 20, 2016 petition. Subsequently, in its June 2, 2016 filing, NERC requested that FERC act on the proposed definitions separately in order to promote timely review and acceptance. The revised definitions are intended to reduce potential confusion associated with definitions embedded with a term.
