NERC Submits Supplemental Filing Regarding Retirement of Regional Reliability Standard TOP-007-WECC-1a

On November 16, 2016, in Docket No. RM16-10-000, NERC submitted a supplemental filing to the March 23, 2016 joint petition filed with the Commission requesting approval of the retirement of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) regional Reliability Standard TOP-007-WECC-1a.  The supplemental filing provides background information on Reliability Standard TOP-007-WECC-1a, the purpose of the proposed retirement, and the manner in which the reliability of transmission paths currently subject to TOP-007-WECC-1a is addressed under other Reliability Standards.
