NERC Submits Notice of Withdrawal of Interpretation to Reliability Standard BAL-002-1

On February 2, 2017, in Docket No. RM13-6-000, NERC submitted a Notice of Withdrawal of Petition for Approval of Interpretation to Reliability Standard BAL-002-1, Disturbance of Control Performance.  NERC filed for the proposed interpretation on February 12, 2013.  On May 16, 2013, the Commission issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (BAL Interpretation NOPR) proposing to remand the proposed interpretation, stating that the interpretation changes a requirement of the Reliability Standard and was outside the permissible scope or interpretations.
