FERC Issues Data Request in Response to Petition for Approval of Proposed Reliability Standards BAL-005-1 and FAC-001-3

On March 7, 2017, in Docket No. RM16-13-000, FERC issued a data request seeking additional information regarding the current practices of a representative sample of entities potentially affected by the revised Reliability Standards BAL-005-1 and FAC-001-3. The data requests ask these entities to provide a description of backup power supplies located at critical locations. Additionally, the Commission is seeking answers on how often these backup power supplies were tested. Responses must be filed within 30 days of the issuance of this data request.
