On April 10, 2017, in Docket No. RM16-20-000, NERC submitted comments in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) proposing to approve Reliability Standard PRC-012-2 (Remedial Action Schemes). In this NOPR, the Commission is proposing to adopt Reliability Standard PRC-012-2 to ensure that Remedial Action Schemes (RAS) to not introduce unintentional or unacceptable reliability risks to the Bulk Electric System (BES). NERC supports this proposal and urges the Commission to approve the proposed Reliability Standard without directing modifications.
