NERC Submits Errata to Voltage and Reactive Control Reliability Standards

On August 18, 2017, in Docket No. RD17-7-000, NERC submitted a petition for approval of an errata to VAR-001-4.1 (Voltage and Reactive Control) and VAR-002-4 (Generator Operation for Maintaining Network Schedules). Additionally, NERC submitted an errata to the regional Reliability Standard for the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region, VAR-501-WECC-3 (Power System Stabilizer). The errata for VAR-001-4.1 and VAR-002-4 is being submitted to correct non-substantive grammar errors and to clarify particular language in the standard. The errata for the VAR-501-WECC-3 is being submitted to correct non-substantive errors in the Violation Severity Levels and Guidelines and Technical Basis sections.
