NERC Submits 2017 Frequency Response Annual Analysis Report

On November 29, 2017, in Docket No. RM13-11-000, NERC submitted its 2017 Frequency Response Annual Analysis for the administration and support of Reliability Standard BAL-003-1, Frequency Response and Frequency Bias Setting. The report contains the analysis and annual recommendations for the calculation of the Interconnection Frequency Response Obligations.  The report also analyzes frequency events and trends in primary Frequency Response sustainability in order to institute appropriate changes to the Interconnection Frequency Response Obligations.  NERC does not request any action by FERC on the filing, as the filing is for informational purposes only.
