On March 9, 2018, FERC issued a letter order accepting NERC’s November 21, 2017 filing of proposed revisions to its Appendix 3D of the NERC Rules of Procedure (ROP). The revisions incorporate limitations of membership in Segment 2 to only Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs). No interventions or protests were filed against NERC’s proposed revisions.
