NERC, MRO and RF Submit Transfer Request of WPSC and UMERC

On September 26, 2018, in Docket No. RR18-11-000, NERC, the Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO), and Reliability First Corporation (RF) submitted a joint petition for the approval of the proposed registration transfer of Wisconsin Public Service Corporation (WPSC) and Upper Michigan Energy Resources Corporation (UMERC) from MRO to RF. NERC believes the transfer will result in effective and efficient administration of the Bulk-Power System (BPS), will have no impact on other BPS owners, operators and users, and will not affect RF’s Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP). The NERC Board approved the proposed transfer on August 16, 2018.
