NERC Submits Informational Filing Regarding Proposed Supply Chain Risk Management Reliability Standards

On September 7, 2018, in Docket No. RM17-13-000, NERC submitted an informational filing regarding Proposed Supply Chain Risk Management Standards as directed by FERC in its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) on Jan. 18, 2018. On January 18, 2018, FERC issued a NOPR proposing to approve three Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards. The Commission also proposed to direct NERC to file the interim and final reports requested by the NERC Board of Trustees relating to supply chain risk management issues. Through this filing NERC submitted its interim report.
