FERC Approves Amendments to NERC’s Rules of Procedure

On January 25, 2019, in Docket No. RR17-6-000, FERC issued a letter order accepting NERC's November 16, 2018 compliance filing on amendments to the NERC Rules of Procedure. NERC submitted this compliance filing in accordance with the directives in the Commission’s July 19, 2018 Order. The July 19 order approved and denied in part amendments to the NERC Rules of Procedure (ROP). Specifically, the order directed NERC to (1) submit a compliance within 120 days restoring Rule of Procedure Sections 603 (Examination and Maintenance of NERC System Operator Certification Credentials), 604 (Dispute Resolution Process) and 605 (Disciplinary Action) and (2) correct typographical errors in proposed Sections 600 and 900.
