FERC Approves Revised Appendix 4E to NERC’s Rules of Procedure

On March 1, 2019, in Docket No. RR19-1-000, FERC issued a letter order accepting NERC’s October 16, 2018 filing of revisions to the Rules of Procedure, Appendix 4E, the Compliance and Certification Committee (CCC) Hearing Procedures and Mediation Procedures. NERC proposed these revisions to align the rules and procedural steps of the Hearing Procedures used in the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP) as per the CCC Charter. In particular, NERC proposed changes to Section CCCPP-004 of Appendix 4E to provide consistency of terminology with the Regional Entity (RE) Hearing Process described in the ROP. NERC also proposed nonsubstantive revisions to CCCPP-006 to update Mediation Procedures to match NERC’s most recent template and formatting changes.
