NERC Submits Post-Technical Conference Comments

On November 1, 2019, in Docket No. AD19-15-000, NERC submitted comments in response to the Notice Inviting Post-Technical Conference Comments issued in Docket No. AD19-15-000 on October 2, 2019. These comments address aspects of the topics discussed during the September 10-11 Technical Conference. NERC’s comments address questions related to: (1) requirements for transmission owners to implement ambient adjusted ratings (“AARs”); (2) transparency of transmission line ratings; (3) review and audit procedures for transmission line rating practices; and (4) NERC reliability standards.
