On February 18, 2020, in Docket No. RD20-1-000, FERC issued an order approving regional Reliability Standard PRC-006-NPCC-2 (NPCC Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding (UFLS)). The purpose of the standard is to establish more stringent and specific NPCC UFLS program requirements. Regional Reliability Standard PRC-006-NPCC-2 establishes consistent and coordinated requirements for the design, implementation, and analysis of automatic UFLS programs among all NPCC applicable entities. No interventions or comments were received on the standard.
