On July 1, 2020, in Docket No. RR20-2-000, FERC issued a letter order approving revisions to the SERC bylaws. The proposed amendments: (1) transition SERC’s Board Executive Committee into a full, hybrid Board made up of Stakeholder and Independent Directors, (2) add at least three Independent Directors to the SERC Board, (3) formalize the Membership body by transitioning the existing full Board into a Members group that meets at least annually, and (4) revamps the Board Committees.
