NERC Submits Second Compliance Filing on Five-Year Order

On September 28, 2020, in Docket No. RR19-7-001, NERC submitted its second compliance filing in response to the Commission’s Five-Year Performance Review Order issued on January 23, 2020. In that Order, the Commission directed NERC to submit a compliance filing addressing enhancements to the NERC Rules of Procedure (ROP) relating to the Certification Program; NERC’s Infrastructure Security Program; and the Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program’s Sanction Guidelines. In addition to the Commission-directed enhancements to the NERC ROP, NERC proposes revisions to the ROP for the Registration Program.
