FERC Issues Order Approving Revisions to SER Standards

On October 30, 2020, in Docket No. RD20-4-000, FERC issued a letter order approving revisions to the Reliability Standards developed under the Standards Alignment with Registration (SAR) project under RD20-4. The affected Reliability Standards include Proposed Reliability Standards: FAC-002-3 (Facility Interconnection Studies), IRO-010-3 (Reliability Coordinator Data Specification and Collection), MOD-031-3 (Demand and Energy Data), MOD 033-2 (Steady-State and Dynamic System Model Validation), NUC-001-4 (Nuclear Plant Interface Coordination), PRC-006-4 (Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding), TOP-003-4 (Operational Reliability Data). NERC states that the proposed Reliability Standards remove references to classes of entities that are no longer registered by NERC to align the Reliability Standards with registration changes approved by the Commission in 2015.
