NERC Submits Compliance Filing on Revised Delegation Agreements with Regional Entities

On April 29, 2021, in Docket No. RR20-5-000, NERC submitted a compliance filing related to FERC’s December 30, 2020 order directing NERC to modify certain terms in the revised Regional Delegation Agreements (RDAs) with Regional Entities. Specifically, the order required NERC to: (1) replace the term “identified” with “described” consistently throughout the Revised RDAs when referencing the geographic boundaries of the Regions in Exhibit A and (2) revise Exhibit D, Section 2 of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) Delegation Agreement to specify that WECC has selected the Consolidated Hearing Process in accordance with the NERC Rules of Procedure. NERC was required to make this filing within 120 days of the December 30 order.
