On April 30, 2021, in Docket No. RM15-11-00, NERC submitted an informational filing regarding research done under the Geomagnetic Disturbance (GMD) Research Work Plan. NERC was required to submit the GMD Research Work Plan pursuant to Order No. 830. The final plan was submitted to FERC on April 19, 2018 and accepted by FERC in Order No. 851. This filing includes a final report summarizing the results of the research performed under the GMD Research Work Plan and recommending future actions.
