NERC and SERC Submit Amendments to SERC Bylaws

On July 9, 2021, in Docket No. RR21-6-000, NERC and SERC submitted a joint petition for approval of amendments to the SERC Reliability Corporation Bylaws. The proposed amendments would amend Article V of the SERC Bylaws to modify the commencement of terms for Board Officers, Sector Directors, and Independent Directors by one month and memorialize SERC’s Board Chair position as an ex-officio, non-voting member of all Board Committees. The proposed amendments were approved by the NERC Board on May 13, 2021.
