FERC Conditionally Approves Revisions to Texas RE Bylaws

On October 8, 2021, in Docket No. RR21-3-000, FERC issued a letter order conditionally approving revisions to the Texas RE Bylaws. The order was issued in response to the February 25, 2021 joint petition from NERC and Texas RE to revise one Article in the Bylaws to allow more flexibility in scheduling Texas RE’s annual meeting, and add one Article to specify governance procedures during an emergency. FERC’s order conditionally approves these revisions while also directing NERC and Texas RE to submit a compliance proposing language in the Texas RE bylaws that affords some degree of public notice of emergency meetings.
