FERC Extends Comment Period for Variable Energy Resources NOI

On March 3, 2010, FERC issued a notice extending until April 12, 2010, the period in which to file comments in response to the Commission’s January 21, 2010 notice of inquiry (NOI) seeking comments on the extent to which barriers may exist that impede the reliability and efficient integration of variable energy resources (VERs) into the electric grid, and whether reforms are needed to eliminate those barriers.
