NERC Files Implementation Plans for Versions 2 and 3 of CIP Standards for Nuclear Plants

On September 9, 2010, in Docket No. RM06-22, NERC filed with FERC a compliance filing containing implementation plans for Generator Owners and Generator Operators of nuclear power plants for Versions 2 and 3 of the Critical Infrastructure Protection (“CIP”) Reliability Standards.  NERC made this compliance filing in response to FERC’s directive to, upon completion of the balloting process, submit implementation plans for Versions 2 and 3 of the CIP Standards for nuclear power plants on the same schedule as established for the Version 1 CIP Standards.  To view NERC’s filing, click here.
