2016 Regulatory Forecast

Balch's team of federal policy lawyers speak on major environmental and energy issues to watch in 2016, possible outcomes in key court cases, the state of play in the presidential race and the impacts of congressional races on the balance of power in Washington D.C.

Two of our speakers—Jeff Wood and Sean Cunningham—filed an amicus brief in the EPA Clean Power Plan litigation in the D.C. Circuit on behalf of more than 200 members of Congress, having been retained on a pro-bono basis for that matter by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Balch speakers address that case as well as many other timely topics of interest to the business community. Additionally, our other speaker, Margaret Caravelli, served as the top climate and air quality lawyer for the Senate Republicans in the last Congress.
