“Social Media: Things your Mom may never tell you”

Tashwanda Pinchback Dixon, partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and member of the Labor & Employment and Litigation Practices, recently presented as part of a panel to the Georgia State Bar’s High School pipeline program participants.  The presentation, “Social Media: Things your Mom may never tell you”, focused on best practices for building a professional presence online.

The Georgia State Bar Pipeline Program is designed to introduce high school students interested in pursuing the legal profession with opportunities to learn about the legal industry, interact with lawyers and judges, hone written and oral presentation skills and network with their peers.

As a labor and employment attorney, Tashwanda is recognized for her ability to provide counsel to large and small corporations on complex and emerging employment laws and for her experience helping HR teams develop clear policies to guide their workforce. Tashwanda represents management in both union and nonunion settings in the litigation of federal and state employment and labor law claims, with a particular focus on workplace OSHA and recently spoke with Bloomberg about Tyson Food Inc.’s Eighth Circuit Case, alleging they mishandled a COVID-19 outbreak at their Iowa plant.
