Equal Justice Works' 2023 Scales of Justice

Founded by law students in 1986, Equal Justice Works facilitates opportunities for law students, lawyers, law school professionals and advocates to advance their passion into a lifelong commitment of public service.

Every year, Equal Justice Works presents the Scales of Justice Award to a leader in the legal community who exemplifies a commitment to public service and a passion for equal justice. In addition, the event raises critical funds needed to support the organization’s mission of mobilizing public service leaders.
