Dart Meadows Named Secretary of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association

Dart Meadows, partner in Balch’s Atlanta office and member of the Litigation Practice, was appointed Secretary of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association (GDLA). GDLA is a statewide organization with over 920 members dedicated to the networking and training of civil defense attorneys in Georgia. Dart has a long-standing history with the GDLA. In 2015, he was elected as one of four vice presidents of the organization.  

Dart is a trial lawyer with 36 years of experience in successfully resolving complex disputes. He has tried dozens of cases in state and federal court, and has defended litigation claims and suits in over 35 states. His focus is on business litigation, product liability, healthcare, and real estate litigation. Dart’s clients include publicly-traded and privately-held corporations, manufacturers, distributors, and individuals. Over the past 30 years, he has developed a national practice representing domestic and international woodworking machinery manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in product liability litigation.
