James A. Bradford Named to the Amicus Brief Committee of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

James A. Bradford, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, was recently been named as a member of the Amicus Brief Committee of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). Formed in 1974, ACMA is comprised of approximately 400 lawyers in United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, who have been elected as fellows in recognition of their expertise and experience in the field of real estate mortgage law. He has served as a member of ACMA’s Title Insurance Committee for more than ten years.

James represents clients in a wide variety of matters and disputes relating to the ownership and use of, as well as the validity and priority of mortgages and liens on, real property. With more than 35 years of experience in the law of boundary lines, easements, eminent domain, liens, mortgages, title insurance and title resolution, James combines the substantive knowledge of real estate law with the skills of an effective litigator to solve his clients’ problems.
